Could life be any better?

Please bear with me and my absence of posts. I am soaking up all I can of Macy's newborn phase and loving it. Every minute I am not spending snuggling her I am spending with Braylen. Safe to say I couldn't be happier and life couldn't be better.

In the meantime, enjoy some photos of the kids. (kidS!! Still can't believe it)

Going to un-bedrest myself

Yep. It's happening, it's time.

I am 38 and a half weeks and baby girl will officially be here by Wednesday so I think it's time. No worries, I cleared it with my doc to be out. We both know I won't be running a marathon so he was fine with it. I am 38 weeks pregnant and the size of a whale ya know. I roll myself out of bed in the middle of the night to pee. Yep.

Look for me out and about in Columbia this weekend. I'll be the one with a two year and a husband in tow. The one with a bowling ball under my shirt. And the annoyingly slow walker that you are dying to pass because well, I just can't move any faster at this point.

I will be enjoying my last weekend as a mother to only one sweet, amazingly cooler than myself child.

Cinnamon apples

Want to try the best and easiest snack I've ever had?! Here is all you have to do!

1..wash and cut up an apple
2..put said apple in a ziplock bag
3..sprinkle (lots!) cinnamon in the baggie, enough to your liking
4..shake!

And done! Easy as that and maybe it's just my pregnant self but this was amazing for me this afternoon. I haven't tried it with Braylen yet but as much as he loves apples, I have zero doubt that he will love it as well.

Polka dot canvas redo

Okay baby girl's room is not done yet, nor will it probably ever be. Same goes for all the other rooms in my house. I found a changing pad cover on Etsy that I just could not pass up. It was the exact vision I had for this room.

Problem was, it did not go well with the polka dot canvas that I made a few weeks ago for the room. So here is what I changed up to make it all mesh together well, as well as a few other pictures of her room and what is done so far.

A boy and his real life superhero

I've said it before..and you will hear it again, I've really got the best husband there is. He is level headed, patient, and encouraging. I adore the way that he loves our son and the way our son looks at his daddy.

Being on bed rest has given Brett an opportunity to really take the reigns (something I do not give up well..) with Braylen. Don't get me wrong, my wants and thoughts are still heard from the couch, but never before had Brett and Braylen ran errands by themselves. Brett has stepped up to help fill my duties that I can't fulfill as well as still doing his own, all while still being my husband.

So this post is dedicated to you, dear husband. Please know how much we love and appreciate you. Braylen loves you more than you know and loves when you are "just like me!"
