Mini weekend getaway

Brett and I made a last minute decision to have my mom (thanks mom!) come down and stay with the kid for the night so we could have a date.

We went down to the lake nearby and stayed at a great hotel, we spoiled ourselves a little bit there. Shopping at the outlet mall turned out great for the kid(s!) and we got some great deals. Other than that we relaxed in our hotel and Brett had a few glasses of wine. Dinner was just a few feet away and we had a great balcony to relax on.

I think it's safe to say we will be back and I may have convinced Brett that a lake house is a must some day.

Long time coming..

Okay its been like a month...and a few weeks since Easter. However, I got a few awesome pictures that day that I have to share.

Things are going well in the Boggs household, we find out the sex of the baby in 2 weeks!

I'm back....

I'm back....but not totally! Things in the Boggs household have been crazy! Since I have been so sick I have been sleeping and laying in bed an extra amount and Brett has been putting in a lot of extra Braylen time. I am using all of my feel good times to get play with Braylen, survive at work, and pack when I can.

Tomorrow is the day, we are officially moving to our new house. I plan on taking a nice hot bath in my new tub! We are so ready and anxious but our now house is barely packed and ready. Wish us luck, it is supposed to be raining tomorrow. Yuck!

Unfortunately this means our internet will be disconnected after tonight and will not be hooked up at the new house until the 27th. You probably won't be hearing from me until then. I can blog from my phone but it turns out looking all funny so I will probably just wait.

8 weeks

Weight gain: I have lost about 2lbs at this point, just not eating like normal 

Stretch marks: Nope, not yet. I got lucky the first time around so crossing my fingers

Cravings: Lots of fresh fruit and sweet treats

Missing Anything?:So far just missing the feeling of NOT being sick and tired!

Wearing: My normal clothes, I bought a belly band but it tends to roll up from the bottom.

Symptoms: Mostly nausea and feeling tired. Having a lot of headaches as well. My OBGYN gave me a prescription for Zofran to help with the sickness, it tends to make me feel dizzy though so not sure if I will pursue taking it.

Braylen thinks:He has no idea, he will talk to my belly if we tell him to but he is still in his own world

Looking forward to:Getting out of the first trimester and feeling better, hopefully! I could also use an energy boost!

Moving time

We did it, we bought a house!...or are buying a house! We put in an offer a few weeks ago that was accepted and our closing date is in the middle of March. This is a house that we loved back in the fall before we had enough money saved up. Lucky us, no one had snatched it up while we budgeted away and saved enough to pull the trigger. The day after our offer was accepted we found out that other people were thinking about making offers. Everything happens for reason!

Can't wait to move!

We are busying making plans and figuring everything out, not to mention also growing a little human baby. Braylen thinks that the baby is in his belly and he is constantly changing his mind between wanting a brother or a sister. As for Brett, well he is busy bringing me toast and crackers. Not to mention the extra cleaning and Braylen duties that he has taken over for me. Great guy he is! I have been exhausted and sick almost 24/7, all a part of the gig! I don't remember feeling this sick and tired when I was pregnant with Braylen but I was also not working 40 hours and caring for a two year old. It seems as though my belly is ALREADY starting to grow, it is still a little early for that.

Maybe Baby?

That's right folks, that tiny little bean you see is Boggs baby #2!! Braylen is so very excited to announce that he will be a big brother toward the end of September. He wants a baby brother AND a baby sister, although my doc confirmed just ONE baby. Braylen also thinks that the baby is in his belly. 

Brett and I are so happy and blessed to have our two blessings come to us so easily. We were able to see the baby's little heart flickering on the ultrasound screen. I have been exhausted and sickly but am so blessed and happy!
