Trooper

About 8 months ago we discovered that Braylen has asthma. He had some issues with allergies and wheezing. He has had one asthma attack that just really consisted of a coughing  fit. His wheezes disguise themselves outside of his lungs as coughing, so we know what to look for. If we hear wheezing we know that is worse than normal.

Generally, we control his asthma with a few medications. Every night he takes Singular, which is an asthma controller, and Zyrtec for his allergies. We also do breathing treatments 1-2 times a day depending on the severity of it. It can be a combination of a controller and a rescue medication or just the controller.

Anyways, whole point to the story is how well Braylen handles his breathing treatments. He is totally a little trooper when he has to sit still on the couch for 5 to 7 minutes and hold the piece in his mouth and breath in. We have learned that by putting one of his favorite movies on and letting him hold it that he does great, most days. Enjoy these photos of Braylen doing his medicine, he took a few seconds to laugh out loud at a few parts.

(Don't mind his little belly showing off)
